Mono Filament Tape (F-370A)
Filament Strapping Tape for Heavy-Duty Bundling, Palletizing & Carton Reinforcement
Overview
Mono Filament Strapping Tape is a high-strength fiberglass reinforced packaging tape designed for heavy-duty bundling, pallet stabilization, and carton reinforcement.
The tape structure combines PET backing film with parallel fiberglass filaments, creating extremely high tensile strength while maintaining low elongation. This makes mono filament tape an ideal solution for securing heavy loads during transportation and export logistics.
Compared with conventional BOPP packing tape, reinforced filament tape provides significantly higher load-holding capacity and tear resistance, positioning it between standard packaging tape and plastic strapping for many industrial packaging tasks.
Typical applications include palletizing heavy cartons, bundling pipes or construction materials, appliance packaging, and export logistics reinforcement.

Key Features
Exceptional Tensile Strength
Continuous fiberglass yarn filaments provide very high tensile strength while maintaining minimal elongation.
Reliable Adhesion to Corrugated Board
High-tack synthetic rubber adhesive bonds strongly to corrugated cartons, even recycled fiberboard packaging.
Tear & Impact Resistance
Reinforced filament structure prevents tearing when packaging sharp or heavy materials.
Moisture & Abrasion Resistance
PET backing provides resistance against abrasion, moisture, and rough handling during shipping.
Extreme-Condition Reliability
During international logistics, packaging materials are often exposed to harsh environments.
High-Temperature Shipping Containers
Containers transported across oceans may reach temperatures above 50–60°C. Rubber-resin filament tape maintains adhesion under these conditions without premature delamination.
Cold Storage & Winter Logistics
In low-temperature environments close to -10°C, the reinforced backing maintains structural integrity and prevents tape cracking.
Long-Distance Ocean Freight
Moisture-resistant PET backing helps prevent degradation during long sea transportation.
Typical Industrial Applications
Mono filament strapping tape is widely used in industrial packaging and transport securing applications.
Heavy-Duty Carton Sealing & Reinforcement
Strengthening and sealing heavy corrugated cartons for shipping and export packaging.
Pallet Stabilization & Unitizing
Securing cartons and goods on pallets during transport and warehousing.
Pipe, Tube & Cable Bundling
Bundling metal pipes, plastic tubes, rods, and cable coils.
Appliance Component Securing
Temporary fixation of refrigerator doors, washing machine parts, or other movable components during shipping.
End-Tabbing / Coil Securing (Upon Validation)
Suitable for selected industrial securing tasks where high longitudinal tensile strength is required.
A high tensile filament tape may still fail if the application is wrong. Carton reinforcement, pallet stabilization, and industrial bundling place different stress on the tape.
If you are trying to reduce carton bursting, pallet shifting, or edge tearing during transport, our Carton & Pallet Reinforcement Solutions guide explains how filament tape works with carton grade, wrapping pattern, and pallet loading.
For pipes, rods, machinery parts, furniture components, or appliance parts, our Industrial Material Bundling guide covers surface condition, bundle shape, tape width, and wrapping methods for more stable holding.

Engineering Insights: Preventing Packaging Failures
Switching from ordinary packing tape to reinforced filament tape can significantly reduce packaging failures.
Common issues solved by filament tape include:
Carton bursting during pallet transport
High tensile reinforcement prevents tape breakage under load.
Tape tearing on sharp edges
Fiberglass reinforcement prevents tear propagation.
Adhesion failure on recycled cartons
Rubber adhesive maintains strong initial tack on corrugated surfaces.
